Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to parenthood!

 

I’m so happy you’re considering me as your doula to support you through your journey into motherhood. Giving birth is one of the most life-changing experiences you will ever go through, but in today’s medical system, many women find it hard to have a positive and empowering birth. Whether this is your first baby or you have children already, every birth is different and deserves to be treated with respect. As a doula, I will support you unconditionally and without judgment. My role is to hold the space for you and your partner and to stand by your side through this very special time to make sure you feel safe during pregnancy, birth, into the early days of motherhood and beyond.

My Philosophy

Every birth is as unique as the pregnant person and baby experiencing it and we should honor that by staying present, mindful, and aware of the pregnant person desires. My guiding philosophy in working with pregnant people and families is in discovering what a sense of safety looks like for them and reclaiming this connection to comfort and support that has been a principle in the childbearing process for all. I am committed to supporting parents throughout their birthing experience whilst empowering the entire family through the journey into parenthood. I believe that if every pregnant person has a supportive, safe, and empowering birth and early parenthood experience — it will be a positive result/catalyst towards deeply generational healing and transformation. Making mindful choices during pregnancy inspires empowered births, which encourages confidence at the onset of the parenting journey allowing children an empowering, loving and supportive entrance into the world.
